Getting to Camp when it snows Harriman Park may no longer conduct snow removal on weekends on the stretch of Seven Lakes Drive from Kanawauke Circle to Tiorati Circle. This could result in the lodge becoming inaccessible by car when heavy snow is on the ground. Members wishing to use the lodge during these times might need to hike in from Kanawauke Circle or elsewhere. There is a parking lot a little bit up from Kanawauke Circle on route 106 (west or north - basically make a left when heading up toward camp) but it may or may not be plowed by the park. |

Parking Reminder Please park cars in the parking lot by the main road should snow be predicted, or in the midst of a snow storm. Cars have skidded even in slight snow going down the hills. You may also want to carry a de-icer for your car lock and the lock at the gate. We have had incidents of cars skidding in less than an inch of snow while going down our long hilly driveway. |

DEADLINES & WORKSHOPS
LODGE KEY WORKSHOPS If you are a TMC member with a gate key and are interested in becoming one of our camp hosts with a key to the lodge, please note the following workshops scheduled during this bulletin period: Saturday, January 23, 11am-2pm To register, contact Kathy Haake. Bring your lunch and dress warmly as the building is likely to be cold until you heat it up! Saturday, March 13, 11am-2pm To register, contact Sharon Bonk. Bring your lunch and dress warmly as the building is likely to be cold until you heat it up! Lodge Key Workshops are generally scheduled during the heating season since there are many details about running the camp in winter that are best learned through “hands-on” practice. Lodge Workshops are open only to members who have earned their gate key by the time the workshop is given. Once you attend the workshop, you are required to co-host two weekends with two different experienced hosts—once during the boating/swimming season, once during the heated season. During the workshop, you will receive a current copy of the Host Handbook. After the workshop, your email will be included in the Host Scheduler’s list so that you will receive the same announcements that key holders receive.
